Our school motto is, “You are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14) Light functions as illumination. It seems to be the most valuable in darkness. If you have experienced power failure before, you should know the importance of having candles for immediate use. With candles, we will not fall down although we only have a little bit of light. Our school motto implies that we want students to become light. Besides lighting up ourselves, we also lead the way for others. How can we do so? The key is “nurture”. The Bible said, “Start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old, they will not turn from it.” (Proverbs 22:6) Children are like a piece of white paper. What we have successfully taught them will appear on this piece of white paper
